Large oven, induction hobs, fridge, freezer, wine cooler, coffee machine, dishwasher + separate dishwashing kitchen.

Coffee filters, tea towels, dishcloths, detergent, hand towels, toilet paper and hand soap.

How many guests can you seat?
Hestestalden seats up to 100 guests. Tables, chairs and tableware are included for 80 people, so for larger parties the rest is hired in from an event rental company. For a reception in Østlængen there is room for up to 250 guests.
How late can the music play?
Music may play until 04:00. Outdoors, music is allowed during the ceremony and reception.
How long do we have the venue?
For a full weekend you receive the key on Friday at 09:00 and return it on Monday at 12:00. The weekend cannot be split up. A weekday booking is Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 06:00 to 23:00.
How much parking is there?
There is room for 40 cars, and they may stay overnight.
May we put up a marquee in the park?
Yes. Size and location are agreed with the estate office in advance, and there is no upper limit on the size of the marquee.
Can guests stay overnight at the estate?
Apartment No.3C can be added and sleeps four. Beyond that you are welcome to camp or pitch tents on the meadow by the estate. Further down the page we have gathered a handful of nearby hotels and rentals.
Can we choose our own caterer?
Yes. You are free to choose your caterer and all other suppliers, and there are no corkage fees. You decide what is served and when the party ends within the rental period.
Is there a commercial kitchen?
No. There is a prep kitchen and a separate dishwashing kitchen with a large oven, induction hobs, fridge, freezer, wine cooler, coffee machine and dishwasher, but not a fully equipped commercial kitchen. Discuss it with your caterer beforehand.
What is included in the rental?
Water, electricity and heating, final cleaning, 10 round tables Ø160, 85 white folding chairs with cushions, plus tableware and glassware for 80 place settings. Also coffee filters, tea towels, detergent, hand towels, toilet paper and hand soap.
What do we need to do after the party?
Basic tidying and light cleaning. The final clean itself is included in the rental.
Can we hold the ceremony outdoors?
Yes. You have free access to the manor park for the ceremony, reception and photography. Østlængen can be added as an additional space for a ceremony or reception.
Can we hold a party in winter?
Hestestalden can be heated, but during the winter months it is used for the estate's shoots, so winter dates are rarely available. Write to the estate office and you will quickly have an answer for a specific date. Østlængen is unheated and is best suited to the warmer part of the year.
How do we book, and when can we book 2028?
Write or call the estate office and we will check whether your date is free and arrange a viewing. Note that no viewings are held in July. A deposit of DKK 5,000 is payable on reservation. Bookings for 2028 open on 1 October 2026.
