Crop Production &
Land Management
Agriculture
Ødemark is a modern agricultural enterprise with roots dating back to 1280, located in Bromme Parish, Sorø Municipality. Since 2005, the acreage has grown steadily through targeted land acquisitions, tenancies and management agreements. Herrestrupgården and Linderødgaard also belong to Ødemark — the latter acquired in 2024, a hilly farm overlooking the 90-hectare Lake Maglemose. The estate also includes an untouched bog preserved as a nature reserve.
Diverse Crop Production
The soils cover all types and qualities, enabling a broad and varied production. The main crops are seeds, wheat, barley, spinach, winter rape, beets and peas.
Ødemark is a long-term landowner and treats its farmland as a future production asset. This is reflected in a varied crop rotation, alternating between different crops to build healthy, nutrient-rich soil.
Saltø Estate
Since 2010, Ødemark Gods has managed the agricultural land at Saltø Estate near Næstved and Karrebæksminde in close collaboration. The farming is conducted as traditional crop production, cultivating grain, rapeseed and seeds among other crops. The partnership with Saltø Estate is a natural part of the overall operation, built on professionalism, responsibility and respect for the land, nature and the historic setting.

Technology and Development
The focus is on modern machinery and continuous investment in new technology that supports more precise and responsible farm management. In the agriculture of the future, technology is a key prerequisite for efficient production while limiting the use of resources and inputs. Precision farming makes it possible to better tailor efforts to each individual field, thereby strengthening operational reliability, economics and environmental stewardship. Most recently, a new row sprayer has been acquired for the seed fields. The new technology enables more targeted work in the field and helps reduce the use of crop protection. At the same time, it contributes to maintaining clean and well-managed fields over several years.
